They only realized that it’s getting late when they heard a loud knocking on the door. Without them answering, the door opened up, and the cleaning lady stepped in. She didn’t care to look around — was already used to the guys working late —, just switched on the lights, turned on her hoover and started cleaning. As it seemed like she didn’t need any interaction, our protagonists just turned back to their monitors and continued typing, until…
“WHAT IS THIS!?” screamed a very upset sounding cleaning lady, and pointed at the slime that Arthur had left behind on the carpet. “WHO DID THIS!?”
“My deepest apologies, Mrs. White, I can’t help it,” uttered Arthur. “As you can see, I was turned into a snail—”
Mrs. White did not seem to be moved in the slightest by that answer. “I’m not willing to clean this up, Mr. Watson! If you felt like turning into a snail, that is your business, but then you better also feel like cleaning up after yourself!”
“I’m afraid I’m currently incapable of doing so, Mrs. White…” Arthur tried to prove his point, but the cleaning lady was already leaving the room.
“Always the excuses! No-no-no! My boss said that I only have to do regular cleaning, there was nothing about workers turning into snails and leaving horrible things behind! I’m not going to do the cleaning here until you cleaned up your mess. See you then, Mr. Watson!” She grabbed the door handle behind her, and smashed the door.
“It’s not funny!” complained Arthur as both Hubert and Paul bursted out laughing.
